A New Chapter: My First Steps into College Life at Vanderbilt

Hi Everybody! Hi!!! 

I still can’t believe I’m typing this... but I’m officially a college student! 🎓💛🖤

This season of my life has already stretched me in the best ways. Saying goodbye to my family, friends, and everything I’ve known as “home” wasn’t easy—but I’ve already begun to build a new sense of home here in Nashville.

I’m beyond grateful and excited to be attending Vanderbilt University, a school I’ve admired for so long. Not only that—I’ve been selected to be a part of the Ingram Scholars Program, which is such an incredible honor. The program supports students with a passion for service, leadership, and innovation, and I can’t wait to live out those values both inside and outside the classroom.

In these first few days, I’ve met some amazing people and started building friendships that I know will last a lifetime. I’ve also learned quickly that college dorm life is… let’s just say an adventure! But I’ve made my little space feel like me—complete with some pink, sparkle, and a whole lot of personality. 💕

Being on my own for the first time is new and different, but I feel incredibly supported. Whether it’s messages from our Confidence community, longtime supporters of GaBBY Bows, or those who’ve ordered my books or attended a signing—thank you. Your encouragement has reminded me that even though I may be physically away from home, I’m never alone.

As I begin this journey, I hope you’ll stick with me. I’ll be sharing updates from college life, how I’m balancing being a student and entrepreneur, and all the little lessons I’m learning along the way.
