Hi Family,
Itās finally SUMMER BREAK! Hallelujah!
We kids might want to relax and not do any school work, but we still need to learn during the summer. If we don't learn, we lose knowledge.
I am a straight-A student and learning is very important to me and my family, especially during the summer. So here are three ways I keep learning during the summer and have FUN!
1. Read
Join reading programs. They give you prizes for reading so many minutes. Iām in two: one at my local library and one at my school. DOUBLE THE PRIZES!š Also, have reading goals. I set a goal to read one hour a day this summer. It can be 10, 15 or 30 minutes. Just set a goal and work to stick to it!
2. Write
Write for the fun of writing! Write a blog, write emails to people, write letters to a pen pal. Just do something so you are writing every day during the summer. I am writing an online course this summer called BIG Courage. It will come with a workbook/coloring book for kids and access to a special Facebook community with me and my parents! Stay tuned to our emails for more details.
3. Correct
We come home from school with papers with grades on them. If we didnāt get a 100, the papers probably need some work so you can go to the next grade and ace it. Work on the school papers to make them 100ās. I hoped these tips helped you a lot!
